Hyderabad’25 Jan 2024 (PMI) Director General of Police Telangana Ravi Gupta congratulated and awarded cash prizes to the winners of the essay writing competitions held on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day. The program took place at the DGP office on Thursday.
Speaking at the event attended by IGP , Welfare Stephen Ravindra and other dignitaries, DGP Ravi Gupta commended the participants’ dedication and highlighted the importance of essay writing in enhancing communication and analytical skills.
The competitions, categorized into two groups – ASIs, ARSIs, and their junior staff and SIs, RSIs, and their senior staff – saw enthusiastic participation from across the state. Twelve officers emerged victorious, showcasing their diverse perspectives on theme.
“These competitions provide a platform for our police personnel to express their creativity and critical thinking,” stated DGP Ravi Gupta. “I encourage all personnel to participate in such initiatives and contribute to fostering a culture of intellectual discourse within the department.”
The cash prizes for the top three positions in each category were ₹20,000, ₹15,000, and ₹10,000, respectively.(Pressmediaofindia)
