Deputy Collector killed in Karnataka;

 Karnataka, Nov 6 (Jurrat Abbas-PMI) Prathima (45), working as Deputy Director of Mining and Geology Department in Karnataka, was murdered at his residence in Bengaluru on Saturday night. The driver of Pratima’s car said that he dropped her at her home after completing her duties on Saturday. He has been living in Subramaniapora for eight years. She is believed to have been murdered around 8.30 pm on Saturday. Her husband and son are staying at Theerthahalli in Shivamogga district. It appears that she was stabbed to death by someone.
Pratima’s brother came to her residence on Sunday morning and found her murdered. When she did not respond to calls at night, the police were immediately contacted. As usual, they reached Pratima’s house at eight o’clock on Saturday night. But her brother called on Saturday night and Sunday morning but did not pick up. Bangalore South Division DCP Rahul Kumar Sahapurvad said that they were informed by him. He said that forensic and technical teams have collected evidence at the scene and three teams have been formed to investigate the case.(Press media of india)
