Hyderabad May 21: Syed Hussain Ali Sajjad bureau Chief of Press Media of India condemned the demolition of the Shirens of four Imama.s and the beloved daughter of Prophet Mohammed Mustafas.a.w.s Shahzadi Syeda Fatemut-uz-Zeras.a in Jannat-ul-Baqi. He said Janat-ul-Baqi is a well-known Muslim cemetery which is also known as Baqi al-Gharqad, which is located at a short distance from the Prophet Mohammad Mustafa’ss.a.w.s Mosque and in the middle of Madinah City and Janat- ul-Baqi ‘is of great importance in the Islamic history.
Until hundred years ago valuable tombs (Rouze) were available on the shrines of these personalities, they were covered with canopies, buildings were built and plaques engraved on the graves were a masterpiece of history and Islamic art of the personalities buried there.
Janat al-Baqi was demolished on 8th Shawal around ninety Eight years (98) ago by the Saudi Government who are of view of Wahhabi’s ideology and every year on 8th of Shawwal marks the anniversary of demolition of Janat- ul-Baqi and it’s a great wound for entire Muslim Ummah who love Prophet Mohammad Mustafa’ss.a.w.s and his progeny.
Mr Sajjad extends its condolences to the entire Muslim Ummah, especially the authorities and the scholars of Islam, and strongly condemns this great injustice and urges the believers to send their children to the Paradise of Al-Baqi and the Islamic burial there. We urge Muslims to keep the memory of this event alive in various ways through majlis seminars or quizzes, brochures, articles, books or posters, infographics or motion graphs. (Press Media of India)
