Deepawali holiday on October 19

Hyderabad, The State government has declared October 19 as ‘General Holiday’ on account of Diwali festival. Earlier, the holiday was declared on October 18.

With ‘Naraka Chaturthi’ falling a day before Diwali i.e. on Wednesday, October 18, the State government has modified the earlier order and declared an ‘Optional Holiday’ on Wednesday.
