Hyderabad, Jan 19 (PMI) Deputy Commissioner of Police, Secunderabad Zone, Smt. Rakshitha Krishna Murthy, IPS, conducted a formal inspection of Chilkalguda Police Station to review policing standards and operational preparedness.
During the inspection, the DCP examined all patrol cars and Blue Colts vehicles in the division. She checked the availability and condition of AD Drill Kits, assessed the operational status of tablets, reviewed vehicle maintenance, and inspected Papillon devices. She also scrutinized grave crime case diary files and rowdy sheeter records.
Addressing police personnel, Smt. Rakshitha Krishna Murthy issued a stern warning against corruption and directed staff to maintain transparency and integrity in their duties. She instructed officers to be polite and responsive while dealing with the public and emphasized immediate response to Dial 100 calls. FIRs must be registered promptly based on the nature and gravity of complaints, she said.
The DCP stressed the importance of continuous surveillance on rowdy sheeters and modus operandi criminals and directed police to initiate strict legal action against repeat offenders who violate binding-over conditions.
She also highlighted the need for quality investigations, particularly in POCSO cases, cybercrime cases, and property offences, and instructed officers to ensure timely and effective filing of charge sheets to secure convictions.
The inspection was attended by ACP Chilkalguda Division K. Shashank Reddy, SHO Chilkalguda B. Anudeep, DI L. Madhu Babu, along with Sub-Inspectors and other police staff.(pressmediaofindia.com)
