Hyderabad Jan 28 (PMI) As part of efforts to strengthen preventive policing and maintain law and order, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Secunderabad Zone) Smt. Rakshitha Krishna Murthy, IPS, conducted a special counseling session for active and inactive rowdy sheeters at the DCP Office premises in Amberpet on Wednesday.
Rowdy sheeters from all police stations under the Secunderabad Zone were summoned for the session. During the interaction, the DCP issued a stern warning, stating that involvement in criminal activities, land disputes, illegal settlements, or intimidation of the public would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
At the same time, she encouraged the individuals to reform themselves, lead disciplined lives, and reintegrate into society as law-abiding citizens. She advised them to avoid unlawful associations and warned that repeated involvement in criminal activities would invite strict legal action.
The DCP made it clear that habitual offenders would face stringent consequences, including action under the Preventive Detention (PD) Act.
The counseling session was attended by Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) and Station House Officers (SHOs) from all police stations in the zone.
