Hyderabad; 17 Oct 2024 (PMI): Day 1 marked a thrilling and action-packed day at the Telangana Police Duty Meet 2024, where officers from various police units of the State demonstrated exceptional skills and professionalism in a series of competitive events aimed at testing their readiness in various law enforcement areas such as Scientific Aids to Investigation, Anti-Sabotage Check, Computer Awareness, Dog Squad and Police Videography.
The day began with 154 participants actively participating in 6 different events under the above-said subjects, showcasing their stamina and agility. These events included written, objective-type, and practical tests. During practical tests, the officers were engaged in simulated critical situation response scenarios, testing their ability to handle high-pressure situations, coordinate efficiently, and ensure public safety.
After Day 1 competitions, results were declared for the events under the different categories. Hyderabad City Police emerged as the top performer for the day, with Six participants securing places in the top three positions across multiple events followed by Cyberabad Commissionerate with Five participants, Cyber Security Bureau & Intelligence Department with Two participants each, whereas CID, IT&C and Zone VII (Jogulamba Gadwal) with 1 participant securing top 3 positions.
The organizers are pleased with the success of the first day and commend the officers for their hard work, dedication, and professionalism. As we move into Day 2, expectations are high, and the remaining events are sure to deliver equally impressive results.
