Bengaluru- (press media of india) Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha of RSS has elected Dattatreya Hosabale as its Sarkaryavah or General Secretary for a period of three years. Dattatreya Hosabale was Sah Sarkaryavah of RSS since 2009. He replaces Bhaiyyaji Joshi. The election was held in the Pratinidhi Sabha held in Bengaluru.
Dattatreya Hosabale hailing from Shivamogga district in Karnataka joined RSS in 1968. He was imprisoned for over a year under the Maintenance of Internal Security Act during the emergency. He was actively associated with JP Andolan in 1975. He was also full time worker of ABVP(PMI)
