Dattatraya averse to be a governor, says BJP only alternative to TRS in State

Warangal,  Former Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya was averse to be a governor as he wanted to work with people.
Participating in a program here on Sunday, Dattatraya said he will not go as a governor as he wanted to be with the people only. He made it clear that he would contest in 2019 elections. The Centre has provided more assistance for on-going irrigation projects and extending full support for their completion in the Telangana State, he said. He also pointed out that the BJP government at the Centre has given Rs 3,900 crore for Mission Bhagirath and Rs 677 crore for Mission Kakatiya projects in the State.
Refuting the allegation that the Centre was not providing funds to the State government, Dattatraya claimed that the credit for providing 24-hour power supply in Telangana State also goes to the Centre. Evading a question whether Nagam Janardhan Reddy would leave the BJP, Dattatraya asserted that the BJP was the only alternative to the ruling TRS in the State.
