Hyderabad’Nov’19’2022 (PMI)Balamitra program was conducted today at Brahma kumaris auditorium,Gachibowli. 1500 government and private school teachers and lecturers of junior colleges attended the program. CP, Cyberabad, Sri Stephen Raveendra, IPS was the Chief Guest and addressed the gathering. CP Said.. after a long break because of the COVID pandemic, once again the program was relaunched.
Officers from education department, W& CWD, DCPUs, NGOs, CWCs, SCSC and other wings participated in the session. Sessions on Child sexual abuse, Balamitra, POCSO Act, 2012, amendments to the act, psychological effects of child abuse, how to support the children, role of Balamitra teachers and successful case studies were shared by the participants. Skit and songs on child abuse, solutions were played by the Drama and Mass Media team of Mr. Altaf Hussain
Booklet on Child abuse was launched by the CP, Cyberabad alongwith the dignitaries. And the copies alongwith relevant pamphlets, badges, stickers were distributed to all the teachers and lecturers and the other participants.
All the participants took a pledge to save and protect child rights, ensure safe places to all the children at all places.
