Hyderabad, Feb 27 (PMI)The Cyberabad Police have stepped up surveillance measures across the commissionerate by launching an intensified ‘visible policing’ drive, aimed at maintaining law and order and enhancing public safety.
As part of the initiative, special vehicle checking drives were conducted on Thursday at various locations under the limits of Balanagar Police Station and Allapur Police Station.
Under the supervision of Balanagar Inspector Narasimha Raju, inspections were carried out on the main road at Gurumurthy Nagar. Police personnel examined driving licences and vehicle documents, identified vehicles with pending challans, and created awareness among motorists about traffic regulations and road safety norms.
Similarly, police teams from Allapur conducted extensive vehicle checks at Vishnu Vistara Road. Suspected persons were questioned, and vehicular movement was closely monitored to prevent any untoward incidents.
Senior officials stated that such visible policing initiatives, including intensified patrolling and surprise inspections, will continue across the commissionerate to ensure public safety and strengthen security measures.(pressmediaofindia.com)
