Cyberabad Police Commissionerate some rules are being implemented.’DCP Traffic  D V Srinivasa Rao, IPS.

Hyderabad 18 Jan (PMI) DCP Traffic  DV Srinivasa Rao, IPS., ADCP Srinivas Reddy and ADCP Venugopal Reddy led a press conference today at Traffic DCP office in Gachibowli.

In this meeting, DCP DV Srinivasa Rao said the following points.

• Keeping in view the day by day increasing traffic congestion within the jurisdiction of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate some rules are being implemented.

• Heavy vehicles, medium motor vehicles, (DCMs, Water tankers, RMC, JCB, Tractor etc.) are prohibited on the roads in the morning: 7.30 to 11:30 AM and in the evening from 4:00 to 10.30 PM.

• Construction and Demolition (C&D) etc. vehicles are prohibited on roads from 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM.

• All heavy, goods and slow moving vehicles are prohibited on flyovers.

• Any heavy vehicles plying during prohibited hours will be fined for the first instance as per relevant sections of the MV Act and for the second time the vehicles will be seized and handed over to the RTA.

• Multiplex theater and other commercial buildings parking on the road without parking will be identified and notices will be served to them and action will be taken.

• There are 55 Pelican signals under Cyberabad Commissionerate. Pedestrians should use foot paths / pedestrian signals / pedestrian crossings or foot over bridges to avoid accidents.

• Auto drivers, cab drivers and other transport vehicle drivers plying within Cyberabad should wear uniform.

• We are conducting awareness programs for school/college students, auto drivers, transport vehicle drivers, RTC drivers to follow traffic rules strictly.

• If the vehicle is driven on the wrong route and causes an accident, it will be punishable under Section 304 (II) IPC.

• Action will be taken against the traders encroaching on the footpath.(Pressmediaofindia.com)
