Cyberabad CP Rewards Staff for best performance

Hyderabad, Feb.26 (PMI): Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar, IPS, today rewarded police personnel for their best and active performance of duties. He gave away KPI rewards to staff for best performance in Verticals for the month of January 2020. As part of the 17 “functional verticals” today at the Main Conference Hall of the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, the awards were given to Station Writers, Crime Writers, Warrant Staff, Summons Staff, Sub-Inspectors, Detective Sub-Inspectors, Crime Staff, Medical Certificate Staff, Section Incharge, General Duty Staff, Detective Inspectors, Station House Officers, Admin SI’s, Reception Staff, Blue Colts Staff, Patrol Staff, Tech Team Staff, 54 officers and staff were rewarded.

Speaking on the occasion, Cyberabad CP said Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are contributing for the better police services. Under the KPI, the court has been rewarding court duty officers and staff under the KPI to encourage police with talent in criminal investigation.The final verdict of the case should be carefully worked out to ensure that the guilty are punished. Significant, sensational cases are suggested for daily follow-ups. Sensational cases that affect the sensitive and most vulnerable are identified and resolved quickly he added.

Court duty officers work together to ensure justice for victims. They are required to write cases in the language court prefers, not in the language they prefer. Those who opted for KPI wanted to work more enthusiastically and stand up for the ideal. The police have to work with commitment. If booking a case is important, investigating it and ensuring the case ends in conviction is much more crucial,” Sajjanar said, adding there needs to be sooner conviction for deterrence in offenders in crimes against women and children cases. He also ensured, if any problems were brought to their attention, they would be solved as soon as possible.

DCP Crimes Rohini Priyadarshini, IPS said Police should focus on withdrawl of long pending cases, Crackdown of long pending murder cases and property offences, Crime prevention and Detection, Women & Child Safety wing and Road Safety. Officers ensure that to immediately respond for Dial 100 calls and good reception should provide at PS and immediate response to the victims, Documentation of every aspect on 17 functional verticals, she added.
