Cyberabad CP ADGP Shri. V.C. Sajjanar, IPS., Warns stringent action on Lockdown violators*

Hyderabad May12;2021-Owing to steep rise in the cases of deadly virus COVID 19, the state government has declared Covid Second wave Lockdown starting from Wednesday (12th May, 2021) till 22st May 2021.

 To ensure strict adherence to the orders of the government Shri VC Sajjanar, IPS, Commissioner of Police Cyberabad has instructed the frontline warriors of Cyberabad police to be on the grounds round the clock along with the needed precautions. In this regards Shri VC Sajjanar, IPS paid a surprise visit to Hitech city, JNTU, Kukatpally Y Junction, Jeedimetla, Balanagar X roads etc., to supervise the arrangements.

Shri VC Sajjanar said, as per Govt. orders there shall be complete Lockdown in entire Telangana State from 10:00 AM to 06:00 AM.  Lockdown restrictions shall not apply during the period from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM everyday for 10 days.  For the entire Lockdown period, all residents need to stay back at home and observe discipline.

Adding further, CP Sir said, “The Covid Second wave Lockdown is for our safety. I request the people of the state to come forward and co operate with us the same way they had co operated during the lock down last year to arrest the spread of virus.” In Cyberabad limits more than 100 check posts were jointly operating by L& O Police and Traffic Police. These checkposts are monitoring by Senior Police officials.

Any violations of the aforesaid instructions shall result in prosecution under Sections 51 to 60 of Disaster management act, 2005 and Section 188 of IPC as well as applicable. Fine of 1000 rupees will be imposed for those not wearing face masks. He instructed everyone to follow social distance and use sanitizer and practice maintenance of physical distance. Since the Covid-19 positive cases are increasing rapidly.
