Hyderabad, April 29 (PMI): Cyberabad Police was rattled today by an unexpected firing incident that took place in Kukatpally area. Unknown miscreants entered a HDFC bank ATM Located near Patel Nagar, Kuntia park and opened fire at ATM money loading staff .
They also fired three rounds of bullets on the security guard of the ATM. The miscreants later looted Rs.5 Lakh from the possession of the ATM staff and ran away from the scene. The ATM staff Ali Baig and Srinivas were seriously injured in the incident. The locals rushed the staff members to a nearby hospital. Ali Baig succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital the condition of Srinivas is said to be critical.
The police reached the spot and launched their investigation. They also seized two bullets and a bullet lock at the scene of offence. They are searching for the accused with the help of CC TV footage .
The Cyberabad CP VC Sajjanar also reached the spot and inspected the area. The eye witnesses have told the police that the accused had runaway towards Bhagyanagar area after committing the offence. (PMI)
