CPI Condemns Arrest of Kodandaram

Hyderabad: Condemning the arrest of TJAC chairman Prof. M Kodanda Reddy in Siddipet district today, the CPI has demanded the state government to release him   unconditionally.

In a press note, CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy questioned the state government to tell whether it was a democratic country or dictatorial country. He said that the constitution provided right to move freely across the nation, but it was atrocious on the part of TRS government to curb the rights of the people. He said that the arrest of Kodandaram was undemocratic and asked the state government to release Kodandaram immediately.
