Hyderabad Sep 27 (PMI): Commissioner of Police Rachakonda Sri Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS, has paid his rich floral tributes to renowned Telangana freedom fighter Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji on the eve of his 107 birth anniversary, at Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, Neredmet.
CP Rachakonda addressing the occasion, stated that Konda Laxman Bapuji has played significant role in Quit India Movement 1942, the second phase of Telangana struggle 1969 as an activist and a leader resigning from Minister Post. The CP said that Sri Laxman Bapuji strived hard for the rights of the downtrodden people as a lawyer and fought for the Telangana state as a leader.
Further CP stated that the people of Telangana will always remember his active participation and selfless services during the Telangana Armed Peasant Struggle and in the formation of Telangana state. On the occasion the Addl DCP admin Narmada, staff and other officers of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate were also present. (pressmediaofindia).
