Hyderabad, Jan.11 (Najaf Ali shoukat-PMI): In light of the rapidly spreading omicron virus in the public and also in Hyderabad City Police, city police Commissioner C. V. Anand today conducted a detailed inspection of the 5th floors of the his Office along with Addl CP (L&O) DS Chauhan and DCP (Admin ) D. Sunitha Reddy.
He went into each and every room and checked on the cleanliness and conditions prevailing in the various rooms and offices. He made suggestions to increase the ventilation in the rooms, improve the social distancing within the limited space available and wearing of face masks at all times. He gave instructions about not having tea and lunch in groups. The inflow of Police personnel from various police stations and wings to the CP Office would also be controlled from Tuesday and it’ll be done online as far as possible, he said.
The CP said that Instructions were given to the concerned to get the furniture meant for visitors to be painted, the toilets and washrooms to be kept clean and fresh and added that Funds were sanctioned for procurement of sanitizers and face masks.
The CP also visited the social media wing, the command control center, the traffic command center and enquired about the number of CCTVs actually working in the field, the status of various IT projects being monitored in the CP Office. He appreciated the concerned ministerial staff for looking after the welfare of 18000 city police personnel and also the IT wing for managing the various initiatives very well and maintaining their functionalities.
