CP Cyberabad Detained Four Repeat Offenders Under PD Act

Hyderabad, March 14: In the ongoing drive against repeated offenders in Cyberabad Commissionerate, V.C. Sajjanar, Commissioner of Police, has invoked Detention orders under the P.D Act as “Goonda” against four accused persons  Namely Shaik Irfan Ahmed, 25 years, occ: car driver R/o Kismathpur, Bandlaguda,  Mohd. Rabbani, 21 years, car driver R/o Padmavathi nagar, Borabanda, Shaik Tahjuddin,   28 years, occ : lorry driver, Chandrayangutta, and  Shaik Mehraj,  27 years, R/o Chandrayangutta.
According to  police press note  today that the accused persons were addicted to bad vices and used to spend money lavishly. In order to meet their lavishness they decided to commit property offences and accordingly they involved in four cases under the limits of Cyberabad, Hyderabad Commissionerates and Sanagareddy District. They booked a cab and took him to the outskirts of PBEL City and threatened him and committed theft of car. Later they committed theft of a lorry and also the mobile phone from the houses in the night times.
The accused were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on October 3, 2019. As their acts are considered prejudicial to the maintenance of public order, they have been detained under Preventive Detention (PD) Act to keep them out of the society for a considerable period in the prison and to prevent them from committing further such offences. (Press Media o f India)
