: BJP State president Dr K Laxman today alleged that the MIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi’s remarks on human bomb attack on Task Force office were “irresponsible”.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Laxman said the dual stand of Asaduddin proves his different stands on Task Force case and Malegaon case. An MP must behave Constitutionally, he suggested. Finding fault with Asaduddin for extending his support to Triple Talaq, Laxman said there was no Triple Talaq system even in Islamic countries but Asad was extending support to Triple Talaq.
It was not correct to Asad to link Triple Talaq with religion, he suggested. Everyone has to obey the verdict of Supreme Court on Triple Talaq and it will protect the rights of people. He said the State BJP was welcoming the verdict of Supreme Court and made it clear that the verdict was not anyone’s victory or defeat and it was an issue of self-respect of Muslim women
