Hyderabad, March 27 (PMI): Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao called on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his residence here on Wednesday.
PCC working president Mahesh Kumar Goud himself took V Hanumantha Rao to the Chief Minister. VH’s meeting with the Chief Minister assumes significance.
Hanumantha Rao has recently expressed displeasure at the Chief Minister for not giving an appointment to the party leaders and also found fault with Revanth Reddy for offering the party tickets to those leaders who joined Congress from other parties.
Moreover, V Hanumantha Rao, who has strongly aspired for the party ticket from Khammam Lok Sabha constituency, is now worried that he will not get a ticket. Fed with the party leadership, he has been staying away from party activities for some time.
On learning the matter of VH, the Chief Minister asked the TPCC working president to bring Hanumantha Rao to him. Swiftly reacting to the order, Mahesh Kumar took VH to Revanth Reddy.
It is reported that both leaders have talked about party matters and it’s learnt that the Chief Minister has assured VH that justice will be done to him in the days to come. (PMI)
