Hyderabad, Condemning IT Minister KT Ramarao’s language used against the Congress and AICC chief Rahul Gandhi, CLP leader K Jana Reddy today said it reflects KTR’s political arrogance and mean mentality.
Speaking at Assembly media hall here on Friday, along with Congress leaders J Geetha Reddy and T Jeevan Reddy, Jana Reddy said KTR feels to criticize others as great. The TRS leaders were habituated to speak contemptuous language, he said. “I used to remind every time on the importance of culture and attitude in politics”, he said and advised the Congress leaders to ignore outbursts of Chief Minister KCR or any TRS leader. He also asked his party men to behave in a dignified manner by maintaining restraint.
Expressing concern over KTR’s language against Congress party, Jana Reddy said this sort of language would affect culture and politics values. “We too can speak the same language if wanted, but it would attract media attention only”. He bemoaned that the TRS leaders have scant respect for Congress party, which generously conceded separate Telangana State. The people will teach a lesson to the ruling party for their tongue lashing, he said. Describing Rahul Gandhi as 130 crore people’s leader, Jana Reddy said Rahul Gandhi declined to become Prime Minister twice.
Responding to a question, Jana Reddy said the Congress leaders have already gave a fitting answer to KTR. The people were eagerly waiting for 2019 elections to return the Congress party back to power.
Deputy CLP leader Jeevan Reddy alleged that the TRS MPs sat silently in Parliament when Prime Minister Narendra Modi insulted Telangana State formation. He alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was mortgaging the interests of Telangana due to fear of CBI, he said.
Former minister Geetha Reddy pulled up KTR for using filthy language being an educated person. She also alleged that KCR had touched Sonia Gandhi’s feet after formation of Telangana State along with his family members. Taking objection to KTR calling Rahul Gandhi as a Pappu, Geetha reminded him that Rahul Gandhi caused tremor in Gujarat elections
