Hyderabad, Dec.7 (Shoukat-PMI NEWS): Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Sunday alleged that both Congress and the BRS parties were corrupt parties in the state. He dared Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for a debate on the implementation of the promises made by him. Reddy participated in the Mahadharna organized by the BJP at Indira Park Dharna Chowk.
Speaking on the occasion, he alleged that the opposition BRS party turned Telangana, which had a surplus budget, into a debt-ridden state during its ten-year rule and added that the BRS party imposed family rule on the people of Telangana. “Many corruptions and irregularities took place during BRS rule. A dictatorial rule was imposed on the people for ten years. With many hopes and aspirations, the people of Telangana fought and brought the state, but we have seen how Telangana became a hostage in the hands of the KCR family. The people of Telangana got tired of the BRS rule. After that, the people voted for the Congress party, which said that it was coming with change and with many kinds of promises, assurances and guarantees. The Congress party, led by Sonia, Rahul, Priyanka Gandhi and Revanth Reddy, had made many promises,” he said.
Referring to the district tours or CM Revanth Reddy, he asked the CM as to how many promises he fulfilled so far? He recalled that when former CM YSR was there, TRS party MLAs defected to the Congress party and added that During KCR’s rule, the Congress MLAs joined the BRS party. “The history of giving up ministerial posts in the KCR government without even resigning from the post of MLA is a history of party defections in this state. Again today, MLAs belonging to the BRS party have joined the Congress party,” he noted.
He asked the CM as to what kind of change he brought in the state with his rule? (pressmediaofindia.com)
