Cong Leader Jeevan Demands Govt to Hike Pensions H

Hyderabad,  Reminding that the then Congress government had  extended pension to ‘Bodakaalu’ (filaria) patients, CLP deputy leader T Jeevan Reddy today  demanded the state government to extend Rs.1500 pension to them. He demanded the state government to extend pension to paralysis patients also. He asked the state government to provide livelihood to the Beedi workers who  crossed 50 years of age. The government has to enhance Asara pensions from Rs.1000 to Rs.1500 in tune with the increased daily essential goods prices. The government has to increase handicapped’ pension up to Rs.3000, he demanded and said that the Congress party would include all these demands in their manifesto for the elections to be held in 2019.
