Hyderabad, TPCC Kisan Cell chief M Kodanda Reddy has alleged that the TRS government has failed to solve the problems of agriculture sector for the last three and half years.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, Kodanda Reddy has said that the state government announced 24-hours power supply to the farm sector and giving publicity that the farmers will yield good crops and get good prices. “The Congress party is not against 24-hours power supply but we are against the huge publicity in this regard”, he said. He said that underground water level was no optimistic in nine districts including Medak and so that the farmers were stating that 24-hours power supply will harm the agriculture sector. Stating that the credit of giving free power supply to agriculture sector was goes to Congress party, Kodanda Reddy said that TRS party was using agriculture sector only for election campaign. There was no minimum support price to the cotton and corn crops, he said and alleged that the farmers were receiving losses due to bad policies and middlemen were getting benefits. The farmers were fallen in debts as the government failed to waive off the loan at one go.
