Hyderabad, Demanding that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao respond on CAG report, CLP Deputy Leader in the Council Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has accused the Chief Minister of implementing his family rule in the budget session, which concluded on March 29. He also alleged that the KCR government has transformed the Assembly meetings as TRS party meetings.
Speaking at Assembly Media Hall on Friday, Ponguleti said the State government “removed” teeth of the Grama Sabhas by clothing powers to the District Collectors through the new Panchayat Raj Act-2018. Ponguleti said the State government tried to show the State as a rich one with cooked up figures. The CAG also exposed the KCR government’s health and medical facilities in government hospitals. The government has thrown Right to Education Act in the dust bin, the CAG mentioned in its report, he pointed out and alleged that the Education sector was weakened with the faulty policies of KCR government.
