Hyderabad, March 9 (PMI): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy inaugurated a second-level flyover at Bairamalguda in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that his heartbeat would increase whenever he came to LB Nagar as his strong supporters were staying in the area and said that the affection shown by the local people to him was memorable.
He stated that the State government is striving hard to develop Telangana as a role model in the country and the Hyderabad city will be developed in tune with the growing population.
“The Congress government took the responsibility for the construction of Metro Rail through Uppal, Nagol, LB Nagar, Hayat Nagar, Owaisi Hospital, Chandrayangutta, and Mylardevarpally. Moreover, it has envisaged plans for the Musi Riverfront development project at the cost of Rs 40,000 crore to Rs 50,000 crore. The abandoned Musi River will be revived on the lines of the river Thames in London. The Musi river development project will be taken up on a 55 km stretch as part of ‘Vibrant Telangana 2050’,” Revanth Reddy said.
He stated that the State government is preparing a master plan for the comprehensive development of the city inside the Outer Ring Road ( ORR) and also developing radial roads under suburban Hyderabad within 354 km of the Regional Ring Road ( RRR).
“The Vibrant Telangana 2050 Mega Master Plan will be conceived by taking suggestions from everyone. At the same time, I am giving a warning to all those who are trying to obstruct the Metro Rail expansion in Hyderabad. Those who are creating hurdles to Hyderabad development should be shunted out from the city,” Revanth Reddy said. (PMI)
