CM Revanth hostile towards Hindus: BJP MP Etala Rajender

Hyderabad, Oct.22 (PMI): BJP MP Etala Rajender today  alleged that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was hostile towards the Hindu people and institutions in the State. He claimed that from the very beginning of coming into power, the Congress party has the same culture of hatred towards the Hindus.

Addressing media persons at the State party office, he alleged that in the Congress government, those who create communal hatred had never been controlled. “Under the Congress government, no attempt was made to control the religious fanatics. Instead, they were provided shelter and nurtured. The Congress party has a habit of trying to portray those who are questioning about the attacks on the Hindu temples as anti-social, fanatics and miscreants. The Congress party has a vile culture.

He said the Congress is a party that has created communal riots even when it wanted to change the chief ministers in the States where the party was in power. In 1978, communal riots broke out in Hyderabad city due to the Congress government’s handling of the murder of Rameeza Bi. A fire broke out in Hyderabad and riots broke out. Hundreds of lives had been lost in the riots. In 1982-83 too, the Congress party created communal riots and killed hundreds of people. It has done politics over their dead bodies,” he alleged.

He claimed that prior to 2014, the terrorists had shed blood in the name of jihadi in Syria, Bangladesh, Pakistan and India. “In Jammu & Kashmir, when stones were pelted at Indian soldiers and bombs were hurled at army trucks, people cried at the carnage. There have been many incidents of bomb attacks in the name of jihad in many places during the Congress regime in Telangana.

On November 1, 2004, a bomb exploded under a college bus near Saroornagar of the city injuring people. On November 12, 2004, a bomb exploded near the railway track at Jamia Osmania area. On May 18, 2007, some 14 people were killed when bombs exploded at the Mecca Masjid in the old city. Many people were also injured in the bomb blasts. On August 25, 2007, some 42 people were killed in the blasts at Lumbini Park and Gokul Chat in Kothi and hundreds of people were injured. Hundreds of people were killed in the communal violence during the 10-year rule of the Congress in Telangana,” he alleged.

He said after such terrible incidents, one can’t go to crowded areas without facing metal detectors. He claimed that when the Narendra Modi government came to power, it put an iron fist on the terrorists, who destabilised the society. He alleged that the Congress party was just meant for vote politics. “Unable to catch and control those who create communal riots in the state, it is vicious to file murder cases against those who peacefully protested against the attacks and arrest the BJP leaders by the State government ,” he said. He said CM Revanth Reddy should remember that such an attitude was not right towards the Opposition party leaders and Hindus. He demanded that the State government bust the conspiracies of the anti-social elements at least now. (Ali Abbas-PMI)
