CM Revanth: CM Revanth’s warning to BRS leaders in the Assembly

Telangana: “Don’t set up companies in Kodangal, don’t give jobs, don’t give medical education. That’s why they say that if development is hindered, it will be trampled on. How is it possible to lead on the path of development if they say no to everything? They are giving alms to thieves,” said CM Revanth indignantly

Hyderabad, Dec 21: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy fired at BRS leaders in the Telangana Assembly. Speaking in the Assembly on the Lagacharla incident, the CM said, “Whatever I have done for the people of Kodangal throughout my life is not enough. After independence, no one from Kodangal became a minister. I got the opportunity to become the CM. Was I wrong to think that job opportunities should be given to those who studied in Kodangal constituency? It is not wrong to set up a pharma city in Muchar, which is a stone’s throw away from the international airport. Was it wrong to take land where there is no irrigation or drinking water? I thought that land should be acquired in four villages and companies should be brought in. They sent crores of rupees and made them drugged and attacked. When the authorities went, they attacked them with stones and sticks. They said that companies should not be set up in Kodangal, that jobs should not be given, that medical education should not be denied. That is why they say that if development is obstructed, they will trample it. How is it possible to lead the country on the path of development if they say no to everything? They are carrying the money for thieves. I came from the Nallamala forests, among the animals. I did not study at Guntur Vigyan. I came as a commoner. I did not come by claiming the name of Aiya. I did not send BRS MLAs to Seoul by pressuring the MLAs. They are putting a block in their legs and obstructing them,” said CM Revanth Reddy, expressing extreme anger.
