Hyderabad, May 29 (PMI): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has failed to teach a befitting lesson to Pakistan after the Pahalgam incident and has mortgaged India’s interests with US President Donald Trump.
Following the call given by All India Congress Committee ( AICC), the Telangana Congress led by TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud organised a Jai Hind rally from VNR Vigyan Jyoti Engineering College to KGR Convention at Bachupally Road in the Qutubullapur constituency on Thursday. Later, the meeting was held at the KGR Convention.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that all political parties, including Congress party, had extended the support to the Union Government after the Pahalgam incident and requested that Pakistan should not appear on the world map.
He remembered invincible leader Indira Gandhi’s strong warning to America when it tried to mediate between India and Pakistan during the 1971 war. It was Indira Gandhi who taught a befitting lesson to Pakistan by dividing the enemy country into two parts during the war.
In the true spirit of India Gandhi, the Chief Minister said that he had already declared his full support to split Pakistan into two countries. He took strong exception to calling off the war by the Modi government at the behest of US President Donald Trump’s orders.
Revanth Reddy wondered why the BJP leadership is organising Tiranga Rally after the end of war. “ The war is not your business and it is an important issue of national security”, he said that the Congress is organizing Jai Hind Yatra to instill self confidence among Indian Soldiers who were demoralized by the BJP’s moves.
Revanth Reddy said questioning the Modi government for calling off the war hurriedly within four days after military strike on Pakistan. Why has no all party meeting called to seek the opinions of all parties before declaring a ceasefire?, the Chief minister asked the Centre.
Calling Narendra Modi a spent force, the Chief Minister appealed to the party leaders and workers to strive hard and not relax until Rahul Gandhi became Prime minister. He asserted that India needs a strong leader like Rahul Gandhi in the difficult times. (PMI)
