Hyderabad, Nov.2 (PMI): Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao along with his wife Shobha participated in the Rajashyamala Yagam on the second consecutive day at his farm house in Erravelli village of Siddipet district on Thursday.
On the second day, Goddess Rajashyamala appeared as Shivakama Sundari Devi at the Yagashala.
The yagam was conducted under the guidance of Visakhapatnam Sarada Peetham pontiffs Swami Swaroopanandendra and Swatmanandendra who performed several rituals to the presiding deity. About 170 Vedic priests from both the Telugu States, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka are participating in the yagam.
The yagam will end on Friday with the performance of a special ritual of Purnahuti which is started at 11.10 AM on Friday. The pontiffs have discussed with the rituals to be followed during the Purnahuti. (PMI)
