Hyderabad, May17 (PMI): BJP State president and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar today alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was conspiring to ban right wing Bajrang Dal organisations in Telangana State. He said KCR was competing with his political rival Congress in the issue.
Speaking at the OBC sammelan held in Nagole on Thursday, Bandi Sanjay said the OBC sammelan was not against anyone and added that it was against the policies of KCR and the Congress. He alleged that the CM had prevented the Modi government from implementing 10 per cent reservation for the upper caste poor in the State for two years. He alleged that the CM had also insulted BC leaders like Prof. Jayashankar, Konda Lakshman Bapuji and Guda Anjana, who taught him Telangana lessons.
He said women were saved by the Centre from the pain of firewood stove by giving them gas connections and added that toilets were constructed in every household and women’s self-respect was protected while noting that Mudra scheme was providing loans and providing employment to BCs. Targeting the Muslims, he claimed that the four cent Muslim reservation had done injustice to Hindus in the posts of 32 corporators. Sanjay asked the Muslims to corner CM KCR on the underdevelopment of old city of the Sate capital.
He alleged that their political rivals were portraying the BJP as a anti-Muslim party to achieve political gains. He urged the Muslims to extend support to him for raising their problems. He asked the CM as to why he was not implementing BC Bndhu scheme even after making a promise. He said they would hold a BC Shankharavam in the State capital demanding that the State government implement the BC Bandhu scheme. (PMI)
