Hyderabad, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has announced 2% reservation in government employment for the sports persons. The CM disclose this when a team of 18 members, who participated in the recently concluded Commonwealth Games 2018 at Gold Coast Australia met him at Pragathi Bhavan this morning. They belong to Telangana, AP, Kerala, Maharashtra and Karnataka.
The Chief Minister felicitated every participant with a bouquet and shawl and complemented them for their achievement. Those who met the CM are: Saina Nehwal (Badminton), PV Sindhu (Badminton), Srikanth Kidambi (Badminton), Rankireddy Satwik Sairaj (Badminton), N Sikkireddy (Badminton), G Ruthvika Shivani (Badminton), Hasamuddin Mohammed (Boxing), Aruna Budda Reddy (Gymnastics), Meghana Gundlapally (Gymnastics), Kynan Darius Cheni (Shooting), Gagan Narang (Shooting), HSK Prannoy (Badminton), Pranav Chopra (Badminton), Chirag Shetty (Badminton), Ashwini Ponnappa (Badminton), Sharath Kamal Achanta (Table Tennis) and Ragala Venkat Rahul (Weight Lifting) and Badminton Coach Pullela Gopichand also there who met the CM.
The CM had a word of praise for their participation and for bringing laurels to the country and State.
