Hyderabad, A school girl was killed after falling from school bus at Sahebnagar in Vanasthalipuram here on Saturday morning.
Police said Anjali, a Class I student of Prashanthi Vidya Niketan High School in Vanasthalipuram boarded the school bus at her house in Sahebnagar and after a few minutes, the driver applied brakes suddenly because of a speed breaker and Anjali, who was sitting close to the bus door, fell down the bus and crushed to death under the rear wheel. The driver, who failed to notice the girl falling down, proceeded further and was stopped by passersby.
The victim’s parents accused the school management of negligence which cost the life of their daughter. The school parents lamented that even though the schools collect hefty fee from the students, no proper care was being taken for the safety of kids.
