Exemplary Police Arrangements During Eid and Festivals; Police Thank Public for Cooperation.
Hyderabad, April 11 (Najaf Ali Shoukat-PMI)The city police successfully implemented special security arrangements to maintain law and order during Eid and other religious and social festivals. In this regard, Additional Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, Mr. Tafseer Iqbal, IPS, stated that effective security measures were put in place at all sensitive locations, places of worship, and public areas. As a result, all celebrations were conducted in a peaceful atmosphere, with visible scenes of communal harmony and brotherhood.
He further added that under the direct supervision of City Police Commissioner Mr. V. C. Sajjanar, IPS, the police force worked day and night tirelessly, performing their duties with utmost professionalism. Alongside maintaining law and order, Hyderabad City Police also took special measures to ensure smooth traffic flow, due to which citizens did not face any inconvenience.
The Additional Commissioner appreciated the cooperation of all sections of society, especially religious leaders of different faiths, traders, youth, and social organizations. He emphasized that lasting peace can only be achieved through mutual cooperation between the public and the police.
Mr. Tafseer Iqbal expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the citizens for acting responsibly and extending full support to the police. He reiterated that all possible steps will continue to be taken in the future to safeguard the lives and property of the public. He also appealed to citizens to continue cooperating with the police while adhering to the law.
