Hyderabad Jul 27 (PMI): Vision-1 TV Channel Chairman (Keerthana Television Firm) R/o Nadimilanka Village, Mummidivaram Mandal, East Godhawari Distict has apprehended by The Special Operations Team of Madhapur Zone Police and KPHB Police of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate who has collected huge amounts from innocent people luring them that he would facilitate them in allocation of double bedroom houses being constructed by the Government of Telangana State.
According to Police Press Note Telangana Government has announced prestigious scheme in 2017 for allotment of double bedroom house to the poor and homeless people and as such there is heavy demand for the same. By taking advantage of this situation, accused Guthula Prashant, Vision-1 TV Channel Chairman (Keerthana Television Firm), introduced himself to innocent people and made them believe that the Government of Telangana has sanctioned Double Bed Room Houses located at Nizampet and Kaithalapur to Media people and he can allocate the houses to them, as such he collected from 35-40 people photocopies of Aadhar Cards, Passport size photos, current bill of present address and Rs. 1,55,000 to 1,70,000/- from each person.
Further according to Police press Note after 10 days he gave fake allotment order copy by name “GOVERNMENT OF TELANGANA HOUSING (RH & C.A1) DEPARTMENT” which is prepared in his laptop and took color print on bond paper and forged and singed as a section officer of Medchal Dist., Telangana state and made forged stamps. Taking the innocence of the poor people as advantage, the accused has given fake allotment order copies to (40) people belong to KPHB, Kukatpally, Bachupally and Miyapur PSs limits to get them believe that he is a genuine person.
According to the Police arrested accused will be sent for judicial remand and will be taken into police custody to elicit more facts. As there may be more victims who have given amounts for the same purpose and some more cases may be reported upon knowing his arrest. The below mentioned things seized from accused person.
