Centre ignored pleas for development: KTR

Hyderabad, Jan.29 (PMI): Municipal and IT Minister KT Rama Rao today said that the state government will develop all the municipalities and panchayats by spending necessary funds. The minister expressed disappointment at the BJP Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for conspiring against development. The Modi Government is not extending any help to Telangana to develop and take up projects, he charged.

The Minister participated in some development programs at Jalpally municipality along with Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, Chevella MP Ranjith Reddy, MLC Patnam Mahender Reddy, MLC Yegge Mallesham and others participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony.

The ministers started some development programs and laid the foundation for about Rs 110 cr development programs in the municipality area. They said that the locality has its own basti dawakhana, people drawing pure water through Mission Bhagiratha scheme. The local people will soon get an integrated market, they said.

KT Rama Rao accused the BJP Government of conspiring against the state development. Despite conspiracy against Telangana development the state government will go ahead with development programs, he stated. The minister expressed discontent that the Centre has copied its schemes like rythu bandhu and some other states too following suit. Our programs are worth emulating as other states follow them, he claimed. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is for all round development he said adding that the schemes will be for welfare of the farmers and people. He slammed the BJP and the Congress leaders for coming in the way of development.

KTR alleged that the state BJP leaders were making tall claims and failed to get funds from the Centre for Telangana development.

Though the state government has been appealing from time to time the Narendra Modi Government ignored extending help and funds, he fumed. Despite the BJP coming in the way the development programs will not be stopped in the state, KTR said.  (PMI)
