Central Zone Task Force Arrest One Person For Selling Banned Chinese Manja

  Hyderabad’26 Dec (PMI) Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone Team raided Bajaj Pathang Mahal, Kali Kaman, Gulzar House  Today On 26 Dec. , in the limits of Charminar PS and apprehended Bhagwandas Bajaj who illegally procured, stocked and was selling banned Chinese Manja (Nylon thread and glass coated Manja for flying kites).  He procures the manja from dealers and is the  main supplier of ‘Chinese Dor’ in Hyderabad City.
MATERIAL SEIZED:
  50 Carton boxes of Manja containing 2100 Bobbins -All worth Rs.15,00,000/-
Fact of the case:
  The accused Bhagwandas Bajaj and his brother Venugopal Bajaj are natives of Rajasthan State, few years back they migrated to Hyderabad and are running Kites business styled as Bajaj Pathang Mahal at Kali Kaman, Gulzar House, selling Kites and Thread/Manja of various brands. He planned to sell banned “Nylon Manja Dors”, which has huge demand during Sankranti Festival for flying Kites. On Bobbins it is clearly mentioned that the said Nylon Manja is not to be used for kite flying.  The accused was selling Chinese Dor or other Synthetic threads with glass coating/other harmful substance knowing well that it is dangerous and can cause grievous injury/ inconvenience to animals and endanger lives of humans. The accused was previously involved in Cr.No.15/2023, U/s. 188, 336 R/w. 34 IPC and Sec. 15 of Environmental Protection Act of Chikkadapally PS.
  The above apprehension was made by Sri. B. Raju Naik, Inspector of Police, Central Zone Task Force & SIs Sri. Ch. Naveen Kumar and team under the supervision of Ms. Sreebala Devi, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad.(Press media of india)
