Hyderabad, Dec.10 (PMI): All is set for recording the statement of TRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case in Hyderabad on Sunday.
The CBI has served notices to TRS leader Kavitha under section 160 of CR.P.C and informed that its team will visit her residence at 11 AM on December 11 for the examination and recording of statement.
Responding to the notice served by the CBI, she also expressed her readiness to give answers questioned by the investigation agency at her residence in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Kavitha also said that she was a law-abiding citizen and would cooperate with the investigation. However, she made it clear that this is without prejudice to her legal rights available under law. (PMI)
