.Huzurabad, Nov.29 (PMI):A case was registered against Huzurabad BRS candidate Padi Kaushik Reddy for uttering emotionally blackmail statement during the election campaign.
The BRS leader was registered the case under IPC 171C, F, 188, 506, 123 RP Act in Kamalapur police station.
On the last day of campaigning in the wake of the general elections, Kaushik Reddy said that he along with his family members would commit suicide if he was not voted to elect the MLA in the Assembly polls.
With the opposition parties lodging complaints with the Election Commission of India ( ECI), the local RVO was directed to give an immediate explanation on the comments made by Kaushik Reddy.
