Hyderabad, Dec.30 (PMI): Union minister of the state for home affairs G. Kishan Reddy on Monday made it clear that the CAA was not against any Indian or any Muslim and added that they would implement the Act at any cost in the country.
He made these remarks while addressing a gathering of party workers at Indira park . The meeting was held to create awareness among the people of the state about CAA. Speaking on the occasion he alleged that internal and external forces of the country were trying to create instability in the country. He made it clear that they had brought the act to provide the citizenship to the minorities of the Pakistan and Bangladesh. He said that the prime minister Narender Modi was trying hard to develop the economic sector of the country.
State BJP president Laxman asked CM KCR as to why he wanted the Center to add the word Muslim in the Act. He alleged that KCR was under the influence of the MIM party. He termed the action of the state ministers to attend the meeting held by the MIM at Nizamabad as a shameful act.
The BJP MLA Raja Singh said that only traitors of the country were opposing the CAA. He also said that no Muslim citizen of the country would incur any loss due to the Act.(PMI)
