Hyderabad, Nov.6 ( PMI ): The Bharat Rashtra Samithi won 10 gram panchayats in two districts of Maharashtra after the gram panchayat elections held on November 5.
According to the party leaders, the BRS has won 9 gram panchayats in Bhandara district and one in the neighbouring Beed district. Out of 66 gram panchayats in Bhandara district, the results of 20 gram panchayats were out. The BRS hoisted the party flag in 9 gram panchayats.
This is the third time this year that the BRS has registered a victory in Maharashtra State. Earlier, the party registered its first electoral victory by bagging a sarpanch seat in Ambehola village of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district in May 2023, followed by another sarpanch winning in Savkheda village of Jalgaon district in June.(PMI)
