Hyderabad, Nov.14 (INS): Former Union Minister Renuka Chowdhury today said Congress party would win 10 out of 10 assembly seats in the undivided Khammam district.
Speaking to the media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, Renuka said Chief Minister KCR’s party was sure to be washed away in the Congress party’s tsunami that is coming across the State. Targeting State Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar, she alleged that the minister was attacking their party activists out of fear of defeat and added that a case had been filed against their party’s Khammam corporator Rafina Begum. She alleged that Majlis and BRS parties were struggling together to defeat their party and added that the police were acting against the law.
She warned the police of doing any kind of harm to their party workers. She said KCR was going to lose this election because he had brought people like Puvvada Ajay, who won on the Congress party ticket and switched sides later to the ruling BRS party. She made it clear that BJP, BRS and Majlis parties were one and the same and added that these parties were doing communal politics. She said she would campaign in Khammam district for the party. She alleged that the Central and State governments were jointly conducting raids on their party leaders. (INS)
