 Tanneeru Satyanarayana Rao, father of former Minister and BRS MLA T. Harish Rao, passed away early Tuesday morning due to age-related health complications.

Satyanarayana Rao, a native of Kothapalli village in Karimnagar district, had been ailing for some time. His mortal remains were kept at Harish Rao’s residence in Kokapet, where relatives, friends, and party leaders gathered to pay their last respects. BRS chief and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao visited the residence to lay a wreath and pay tribute to the late Satyanarayana Rao. Recalling his close relationship with his brother-in-law—Satyanarayana Rao was married to Chandrashekar Rao’s seventh elder sister, Lakshmi—the former CM expressed deep sorrow over the loss. Chandrashekar Rao also comforted his sister Lakshmi, Harish Rao, and other grieving family members, offering prayers for the departed soul. Later, the funeral was held at the Film Nagar Mahaprasthanam, attended by BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao and several senior party leaders. Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponnam Prabhakar, Konda Surekha, Adluri Laxman Kumar, Damodar Raja Narasimha, Sridhar Babu, and TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud extended their condolences to Harish Rao and his family. Leaders from Andhra Pradesh, including Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, BJP State President N. Ramchander Rao, YSRCP President and former CM Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, and Janasena Chief and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, also conveyed their sympathies. (PMI).
