Hyderabad, April 29 (PMI): BRS leader and Telangana Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy’s son Gutha Amit joined the Congress party here on Monday.
He joined the ruling Congress party in the presence of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, AICC Telangana in-charge Deepadas Munshi, Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, State government’s advisor Vem Narender Reddy and other Congress leaders.
There has been speculation since the last many days that Gutha Amit would join the Congress. Amit has aspired to contest from Nalgonda Lok Sabha constituency on behalf of the BRS. But, he later gave up the idea of contesting the elections.
Moreover, there has been speculation that Gutha Sukhender Reddy will also join the Congress. He has recently made sensational remarks against his party, saying that the BRS party lacks internal democracy, organizational structure and there is no review system. (PMI)
