Hyderabad; 13 Nov 2023 (PMI): TPCC president Revanth Reddy today alleged that the BRS Government had cheated the Dalits of the State. He made these remarks while campaigning at Daulatabad in Vikarabad district.
Speaking to the media persons on the occasion, Revanth Reddy said development and welfare took place in Daulatabad while the Congress party was in power. “The BRS leaders said they would bring double bedroom houses, three acres of land for Dalits and colleges. Leaders, who have not fulfilled any promise in the last 10 years of the BRS government are asking people to vote for them again. The school, the temple and the drinking water built here are the ones I brought,” he said.
The TPCC chief said when the Congress party returns to power, they would give gas cylinder for ₹500 and added that Rs 2,500 per month pension would be given for women while noting that Rs 15,000 per acre will be given to farmers and tenant farmers through Rythu Bharosa scheme. He said they would Rs 12,000 per acre for farm labourers and added that Rs 5 lakh would be given to the homeless poor to build a house. He said 200 units of free electricity under the Griha Jyothi scheme would be given to the people of the State and added that Rs 4,000 pension per month under the Cheyutha scheme would be given to all eligible pensioners. He said the Congress party should come to power to complete the Narayanpet-Kodangal lift irrigation project. “It is in Indiramma’s kingdom that the poor will get the fruits of welfare,” Revanth Reddy added.
