Both Cong, BJP are corrupt parties: Harish Rao

Jayashankar Bhoopalpalli, May 9 (PMI):  The ideology of both Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party are not different from indulging in the corruption and both are having the same face of a single coin, alleged Minister for Finance T Harish Rao.

The Minister said that both BJP and Congress are least bothered about the welfare of Telangana State and they have never wished the progress of the State.

Harish Rao on Monday visited Jayashankar Bhoopal Palli district and took part in several inaugural and foundation stone laying programmes worth about Rs 102 crores.

Harish Rao has laid foundation for the construction of the 200-bed district government hospital with Rs 55 crore, a new diagnostic hub with radiology and pathology labs with Rs six crore, a 20-bed special newborn care unit (SNCU) and 50-bed Ayush hospital. Later, he also inaugurated the 100-bed Area Hospital, and inspected the hospital.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Harish Rao said that since the inception of Telangana, the development is going on at the brisk pace across the State and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is striving hard for the welfare of all sections of people in the State.

“The development is witnessing in every nook and corner of the State under the leadership of KCR and the best example is that Bhoopal Palli where it has a government medical college. If there was no Telangana State, the dream of Medical college could not have been realised here,” Harish Rao pointed out.

Responding to the remarks of BJP national president JB Nadda, who alleged that the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation project could not provide water to even a single acre in Telangana, Harish Rao said that Nadda should have inspected the villages to ascertain the facts, instead of reading the script written by his party leaders.

Terming the Congress party’s declaration on agriculture issues as trash, the TRS leader alleged that people are still unable to forget it’s worst tenure where farmers had faced inadequate power supply to agriculture, poor distribution of fertilizers and suicides. (PMI)
