JUNAGADH Feb 2 (PMI)The Junagadh district court and the Rajkot collector’s office received bomb threat emails on Monday, triggering security alerts, but the threats were later found to be hoaxes, police officials said.
According to Junagadh city Deputy Superintendent of Police Hitesh Dandhaliya, the Registrar of the district court received an email claiming that three bombs had been planted in the court building and would explode at 2:10 pm.
Following the alert, police teams, along with a dog squad and the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad, rushed to the premises and conducted a thorough search. However, no suspicious objects were found during the operation.
After the searches, authorities confirmed that the bomb threats were false. Security at both locations was subsequently normalized, officials added.(pressmediaofindia.com)
