In the effect of Covid -19, Coronavirus lockdown the blood reserves at Blood banks are very low and running short of requirements. In a bid to help Thalassemia patients (specifically children), Dialysis, Cancer, Accident patients, ladies who are with insufficient blood and other patients who are in need of Blood regularly.
The blood donation campwas conducted under the supervision of Petbasheerabad ACP AVR Narasimha Rao, Alwal Inspector Puli Yadagiri where volunteers donated 64 units of blood today and till yesterday 973 units were collected.
