Hyderabad, Jan.19 (PMI): BJP leader and Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh today took oath as legislator in the Assembly. Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy administered oath of office to the BJP MLA. Raja Singh, as proclaimed earlier, did not take oath in the Assembly on Thursday administered by Pro-tem Speaker Mumtaz Ahmed Khan of the MIM. Four other MLAs were also not present in the Assembly for various reasons.
Speaking to the media later, Raja Singh said the MIM leaders always speak against the majority community injuring their feelings. He requested the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to think about making an MIM MLA as Pro-tem Speaker. He also urged the Chief Minister to take all sections along with him if he wanted Bangaru Telangana. (PMI)
